Refund policy

At Budget Bargainz, we want you to love your home upgrade. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with UK Consumer Rights.

1. 14-Day Right to Cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods.

  • To initiate a return: Please contact us at info@budgetbargainz.co.uk or call 07957549758 within 14 days of delivery.
  • Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item to our Birmingham warehouse.

2. Condition of Returns

To be eligible for a full refund, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received them.
  • In their original packaging. (We recommend opening furniture carefully to preserve the box/wrap).
  • Complete with all parts, fixings, and instructions.

Note: For hygiene reasons, mattresses that have been unsealed or used cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless an item is faulty or "not as described," the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
  • Large Items: For bulky items like sofas or U-shape corners, we can arrange a professional collection for a fee. Please contact us for a quote based on your location.
  • Standard Delivery: If you return your entire order, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery. If you chose an express or premium delivery option, only the standard rate will be refunded.

4. Refund Process (The 1-Week Guarantee)

We aim to process all refunds swiftly.

  • Inspection: Once your return is received at our warehouse, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the conditions above.
  • Timeline: We will process your refund within 1 week (7 days) of receiving the item back.
  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued automatically to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take an additional 3–5 working days to post the credit to your account.

5. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your furniture arrives damaged or develops a fault, please notify us immediately.

  • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose for a full refund.
  • We may ask for photos of the damage to help us improve our quality control and resolve the issue faster.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Personalised or custom-made furniture.
  • Items sold as "Ex-Display" or with clearly stated defects at the time of purchase.
  • Mattresses that have been unsealed.
